Community Angels :
provides practical support for local residents in Preston and beyond. Shopping, errands, collection of prescriptions, telephone befriending, dog walking are amongst the services offered. Please call 834866 for more details.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) :
CAP is a national debt counselling charity working in partnership with local churches across the UK. CAP does not pay anyone’s debts for them but negotiates with creditors and works with clients until they go debt free and seeing thousands of lives transformed. CAP also helps with job support (e.g. CV writing, interview prep), life skills and provides money management courses. The Nest (Littlemoor) :
is a community shop based at The Top Club, Louviers Road in Littlemoor.
We provide cheap, good quality food to families and individuals who have limited disposable income. We are committed to reducing food waste and ensuring everyone has access to healthy and affordable food.
We are open from 10:00am until 2:00pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.
People who would like to become a member can either be referred by one of our partner organisations or can self-refer themselves. Our members pay £3.50 to choose 10 items from our shop. Bread fruit and and veg are totally free in the shop, so people can get as many of these items as they can use. Households with 3 or more people in them have the option to instead pay £5 for any 15 items of their choosing as well as all the extra items.
